The kids line was pretty slow. One bull skunk, a nine pounder.



Had a couple close calls with wolves in dirtholes set for coon, but fortunately we didn't pinch any. George and Emmett each put in a coyote set in one of the few places we didn't find wolf sign. Ms Elmera put in a mink set and an otter dirthole. She also put in her first coon cubby, and it took at least ten minutes to pound the stake in. I managed to get caught in a 155, much to my boys amusement. My wonderful wife and my boy Trapper supervised. I did manage to sneak in a couple beaver sets, so hopefully I'll be sharing more catch pictures tomorrow.

Sam you might have them thinned down. Or are you trapping a big area. Looks like all pretty good size skunks. Keep getting them.

The clerk at the gas station definitely took notice when we walked in today.

We surely have them thinned in our best area. The population seems light around here as compared to previous years.
