I like my German beers—very malty. I don't like what is offered here; it's just not my thing. I'm a bit of a purist, so I make my own Hefewisen Dunkel and (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman). I can get the flavor I like.

I generally like Amber beers.

Michelob Amber Bock
Alaskan Amber
Fat Tire (when it was Amber)
Bell's Amber Ale
etc.
etc.

I like most beers and seldom buy the same brand twice in a row. In my younger days, I drank mostly Busch Light, but the quality went south and the consistency was suspect.

a trip to Austria and the Czech Republik ruined me.

once you taste real beer, you realize Life is too short to drink crappy beer.

3 Sheeps Brewing, "The Wolf" is my current favorite. On the rare occasion I drink beer, I want flavor. 13% ABV doesn't hurt either.

my cousin tells me Point brewing has a new lite out that is 2.6 like mic ultra but tastes good , he said outside of Stevens Point it is hard to get so he is bringing two cases to deer camp.

We had an old farmer neighbor that always drank a warm beer at his noon meal. It had to be warm beer.

My regular beer is rolling rock.But I just returned from a grouse hunting trip to Minnesota where I discovered Grain Belt Premium! It’s pretty good brought a case home

Worked with a guy that would order 3 beers right away (cans) and put 2 of them between his legs to warm them up. PBR, I believe was his choice.

my buddy did a few years in Army intel so he was not on base , they lived more like Germans in apartments near the wall before it came down wore civies , he married his wife just before he processed out of the army , who grew up in Germany , although technically she had Greek citizenship because they don't give away citizenship in Germany the same way we do in the US.
she was born and raised in Germany near the wall.

neither of them drink anything but milk refrigerated.

refrigerators in Germany were for an entire family about the size of what you would call a dorm room fridge
I suppose if you lived on the 4th floor of a Nazi era apartment building where you had to carry coal up to take a bath you would have a tiny fridge.

an American Woman shops 1 day a week bathes 6 maybe 7.

now with all the people who pick up dinner at the grocery on the way home now maybe doesn't hold as true for the shopping part as it did 35 years ago
