True. Great analogy.

We get 635-640 ounces from our 5 gal. batches. smile Stirring regularly during bottling will stop any variability issues.

Bottling boston rounds requires a pourable / squirtable consistency to load your bottles or you are forced to transition to wide mouth bottles.

Consistencies can vary at times from batch to batch. Just a fact of formulation. That shouldn't affect the quality of the product.

Last year I decided to try a new cat gland lure. The lure maker recommended adding 2:1 bobcat urine to his product. I mixed it well, then split it into 2 bottles (sanitized) to have room for the urine (pure collected). I shook the urine before adding to the 2 bottles. I checked them a few weeks ago & the 2 bottles smell different. I think something made it into one bottle that didn't make it into the 2nd bottle (I didn't get it mixed well enough before dividing). That's my opinion anyway.

I haven't Marten/Fisher trapped since 2007, and the Gusto I bought back then was rather thick.
