I was laying in bed last night,,, just looking at all the new names that have appeared on tman recently… I got to thinking about the others who have came and went,, and some who are no longer with us.
My kids got to know them through trapper chat..
They are now grown up with families of their own…
Foxxkiddskid, lil fox, muskrat Johnnys, and my wife momma foxx would sometimes pop in every now and then.

I never ever had to worry when my kids were on there,, every one respected the kids, and I honestly think they looked forward to the kids being there.
Was never any threat from weirdos and I could rest assured, that had one somehow got on there,,, he would have been in dangerous waters..you don’t mess with a trappers kid,, weather your own or someone else’s,,,
And if they were ever to wander off at a convention, they were protected better than a pack of pit bulls.

What was really meaningful, is when my kids got to meet some of those guys in real life… and tom( bogmaster), my daughter, “ foxkiddskidd” still remembers you and meeting you at the Illinois trappers association convention.
Sometimes I still wish we had that ol chat…good times.

Been here a very long time.. I found this site while looking up trapping information on the world wide web at my library.. I didn’t even have a home computer when I discovered tman..
It was actually the discovery of trapperman that got me to buy a home computer and get the internet..so I could spend more time on it,, lol

The old chat was tied to the forums and was deemed to be a security risk.

Safe, except for the one guy who turned out to be a serial killer or whatever.

It was the last chat we had where members used their display names from here. You had to be a member on here to log into it.

She was at the house tonight,,, she saw this and she said she does indeed remember you,,, she said to tell you hi.

Boggy, she said hi back at ya,,, she still remembers you,,, ponytail and all,,, lol.

My girls aren’t so little anymore,,, quite the young ladies,,, tashina “ foxkiddskidd” is now a teacher for preschool kids and Courtney “ lil fox” is now an activities director at one of the rest homes here.

Id like to think they got their communication skills from chatting with the gang…
