saskbone OP trapper S Joined: Apr 2012 Muskrat Lake,Saskatchewan	I think it’s a Newhouse. Nothing on the pan. Is it missing a spring? It’s at antique shop. Is it worth $100? I seen it today and am only able to buy it tomorrow then I’ll be 16 hours away. Thanks

wissmiss trapper W Joined: Jan 2007 north Idaho	Could be a Newhouse but other brands have similar jaw set up. The spring that is there appears to be hand forged. Neat trap but not worth $100.00 in my opinion. Hopefully other “old trap guys” will join the conversation. www.usedtraps.com Please check out my updated inventory of Native American books.

backroadsarcher trapper B Joined: Nov 2012 Frazee, MN	Agree with wissmiss about maker and hand forged spring. But the trap is only worth what you want to pay for it. People spend more for decoration than that. No other markings on the trap? Stamps on the bottom of the frame or anything on the pan?
