alcohol doesn't have carbs...it's the DELIVERY systems that have carbs.

Same results. No alcohol=dont get the carbs. Best part is I didn't cut carbs for myself but only to support my wife that needed to due to becoming insulin resistant.

Cutting the carbs solved her insulin issue, lost 40lbs and feeling beter.. I have lost 20 to 30 lbs Not sure becuseI didn't get a base line weight when we started I was not interested or trying to loose weight but clearly had it there to loose.

And as it turns out the diet changes is also what is recommended for MS so I was ahead of myself on that.

Once you see how much added sugar and empty calories people eat its easy to understand why Americans are so fat.

With a shot of lemon flavor Deep Eddie. All over ice. I have poured my beer over ice for a long time. Can’t stand warm beer.

Why the Deep Eddie. It adds a great lemon flavor to the beer. And gets me to where I need to be quicker)))))))!!!!! [Linked Image]

I dont drink much beer but occasionally I will drink a Corona with a little lime. I keep a few Little Kings in the fridge and have one before bed every now and then.

Sometimes I soak my fish in natural light before frying then I save the contents for last call. Sometimes I drink it sometimes my buddy does.

Seeing as you're from Iowa, did you ever have occasion to drink Falstaff? It was my grandfather's favorite, and all the Bohemian folks drank it back in the day.

I remember the adults drinking Falstaff when I was a kid. The underside of the bottle caps had little riddles printed on them us kids liked to solve.

Who drank Pfeiffers Beer? Do they still even make it? My dad used to bring home a case or three when I was a kid and we went fishing the backwaters of the Mississippi in Alma Wi. Picked it up in Nelson at Shorty's bar, which had the best seafood platter I've even had. That was only 50 years ago or so now.

I like old style, Pabst, coors, and right now I’m liking some Keystone light, my uncle used to drink grainbelt in large quantities and now he’s deaf, bald, and has trouble seeing so we all blame the grainbelt so I’d stay away from that one. grin

That's what he always bought. Any idea if it's still made these days?

Used to drink old Milwaukee, coors light, bud light and now Busch light might be time to switch again to something different. Probably michelob ultra as I really like it but it's pricey.

I had a Mass Riot last night watching the ball game. It was tasty. Otherwise, a cold can of Utica Club is my choice

my beer fridge is so close to freezing that when I thaw meat in it , it takes most of the week to thaw.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

We had an old neighbor of my dad's Blackie we called him, who used to go up north deer hunting with us. He never hunted, but was our cook. He would bring along several cases of Pfeiffers beer. He never smoked, but always had a beer open like a chain smoker would always have a cigarette in his mouth. He never ventured far from our outdoor toilet.

I remember one time we were sitting around playing cards when Blackie jumped up suddenly from the table and shouted, "Here we go!" He ran outside and not more than 10 seconds later he was back inside. My dad asked, "What was that all about?" To which Blackie replied, "False alarm, just gas."

Got a photo from a speeding camera in the mail. I immediately sent it back - way too expensive and really poor quality.
