With the current state of the medical industry and the frequency of doctor changes, I'm finding that you need to be proactive, and do a lot of your own research. Doctors have way too many patients, and other things going on to really keep track of you personally. I doesn't really make too much sense that it would be otherwise.

Doctors used to be in private practice, perhaps with several other doctors, and they had a personal interest in the well being of their patients. Now they are employed by large corporations making them like employees at Home Depot. Just like a Home Depot employee they put in their hours and go home. I've had TWO doctors in 60+ years. First one worked out of his house. Current one just sold his practice to.a mega medical group, and is staying on a year then I.guess retiring. Not looking forward to.finding another, I've been spoiled.

Best one i know of is the wife and I nurses practitioner. She is over booked and stresses about time when we see her BUT the woman cares and has txt my wife more than once including 930-10pm on sunday night tasking if she was up then calls to talk about test results from home not the office. When wides results cams back insulin resistant she suggested the shots for that as most people and her company would expect and choose BUT had no problem when the wife said I dont want to take life long drugs how about trying diet change first. So we cut carbs and it fixed her issue. Most want you on lifetime drugs. And I will/do have to admit the same np did want me on blood pressure meds and statons. Ya hard pass. 1.I didnt fast befor the blood work so results would be off. 2. 2 weeks later I was in the hospital and medical phacilities for MS a bunch and my blood pressure thay all said was very good beter than people younger. So she is not immune to pushing unnecessary drugs, but is ok with tying other things first.

Drs are very good Schwan’s customers they eat like everybody else maybe worse they don’t often take the advice they give plus they have lousy work hours especially in small hospitals.

Not so sure about that in my situation. I see my GP every Tuesday at the health club I go to. I mentioned to him I may have to have a knee replacement. He said if it comes to that let me know. I can recommend a specialist for you that's really good, one I would use if I had to have a knee replacement. He's really busy, but I can talk to him personally to get you in.

It’s getting harder here also to find a new doctor because doctors are leaving! Tried to get a blood test and there were at least 35 people ahead of me.
I guess this was the plan all along with new health care contrived by o’care!

There is a doctor in Delta that you might consider. He is busy but he is like an old time doctor.

The current crying about how Obummercare premiums will skyrocket but nobody said a word when private coverage soared because of it back then. It’s a racket and the folks who pay will pay for it the ones that don’t never will pay.

That sucks. I hate switching doctors. I don't even have a primary Dr.

I heard Obama Care had a lot to do with this That’s what I heard too. Privet practice doctors could not afford to hire enough people to keep up with all the new paperwork. Obama years were tough on small banks in the same way.

I mean, if the AFFORDABLE Health Care Act was really affordable, would it NEED subsidies??? It would to make it affordable!!! A classic example of tricking the American people who are stupid by using pretty words. A semantic manipulation of fools!! Just like the inflation reduction act. I don't know who is dumber. The politicians using the stupid terms or the idiots who believe them.
How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?
