elsmasho82 OP trapper Joined: Jan 2023 Pennsylvania	Really took my time and was careful and managed to get both skinned quicker than it took me last year. I’m really happy with my new gambrel. Forgot to take a picture but it’s like a square and a series of V’s that you just slide the feet into.

I have the one with the hooks but it’s hard to raise a heavy coon and try to stab it through the legs. ~ADC~ The Count Joined: Jun 2010 Iowa	If you don't have a machine you could use a pulley and rope to hang your gambrel so you can lower it down to hook the coons on and pull it up. Put a loop in the end of the rope so it'll hang at the height you want and attach a cleat to hook the loop on. gcs trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 South shore L.I.	I made a gambrel using 2 lengths of choke collar to attach the legs,,,raise and lower it with a small block with a cleat to adjust the height...infinite adjustment, lol...
