I really like that show. It has been all about trapping and is a great show. I don't watch much TV but have been watching a little each night since I found this show. Anyone else every watch it?

Isn't that all reruns? Not filming new shows? Do you have a favorite last Alaskan? They could be all reruns as far as know. I got TV from YouTube from another person that has it and he gets 6 TV hookups so he gave me one of his. No favorite all really good stuff IMO.

ADC. That is funny. Those jokers were doing a lot of filming outside of Hoonah, Ak. I have been there MANY times, sometimes months at a time. When they were doing that Alaskan Bush People, I was just waiting for the Natives to burn them out. To say they were not welcome would be a huge under-statement. They relocated to Washington years ago but claimed they were still the real deal Alaskans. As far as Last Alaskans goes, they ARE the real deal. Of course there is fake drama, but overall, a pretty decent show. I know some people up there that could be a REAL series, and no fake required. Heck, they could have follwed mad_mike and I around in the airboats, up really wild rivers, hunkered in our little 12x16 cabin for days as storms raged, ran our little open skiffs in 8'-10' waves and seas, and chased both brown bears and black bears every single year for a couple decades. And trapping....man, what a show that would have been. Angry wolverines, wolves, marten, mink, otter, fisher, even a black bear...3 times! I have video of me releasing it from a V-14. Amazingly, I only lost a glove, rather than 3 fingers. And those were the no drama times! Man, I sure miss real adventure.
I should clarify that where mad_mike and I operated began with a boat launch in saltwater, then airboats to the rivers from our little cabin. The salt tried to kill us with wind and waves, and the rivers tried to kill us with rocks and sweepers, mostly.

I'd watch your and mad_mike's show!

That is pretty cool you got to meet them. It is one of the better shows I have seen for being realistic and not produced type of reality show. The people are what you see not trying to act the part.

I'm a sort of a "next to last" Alaskan. Does that count?!!! Pete Yep! Counts in my book. I have always been integrated by the way of life in Alaska. I tried to get up there and work on the North Slope in late 70's but never got the job. My good friend did and did very well up there and had some great memories from the many years he lived there.
