If removing guns saves just one life it's worth it. Then if deporting illegals saves one life is that worth it?

I was thinking the same thing. That bike probably cost more than the average coal miner made in wages.

My thoughts -
Yes the kids look thin , but if you look closer , thin but some muscle is starting to be forming there.
Very few fat kids back then , unlike today. Plenty of chores to be done , no TV screens or electronic junk to sit in front of on your butt. Much more active times for people. Women were much stronger back then too. We have gotten so used to fatter kids and people that those in the picture look thin by today's standards.

Yes , the bicycle looks a bit pricy for the time.
