3. The first year my youngest son hunted he wanted 7 because that's what his quiver held. Told him I never got more than 1 shot he didn't need that many. He put 6 in his quiver. First night of archery he's in a tree about 100 yds from me. I hear a twang, 15 seconds later twang, 15 seconds later twang, By now I'm sitting in my climber giggling. a minute later, twang, twang, twang again. I climbed down and went to him. He's shaking and saying I got a buck, hit him 3x, then 2 doe came in and I hit one 2x, and might have hit the other one with last shot. I would have got the second doe for sure if I would have had a 7th arrow. I tell him to stay in stand and point me to where each shot was, Long story short, he missed every shot! 2 days later he shot a doe with his third shot.

Got 4 coyotes one sit while deer hunting.they just kept coming.I was making fawn bleating sounds.

Now 3 typically. Back in about 94 or so I had a quiver that held I think 8. Came in handy once. My cousin spine shot his first bow kill about middle of its back. He had shoot the rest of his arrows at it and missed. hollered " Matt get over here have a deer down and I am out of arrows" I got over ther and the deer was in a ditch and the bank ll had all his arrows sticking out of it. He promptly started shooting mine at it missing all but the 7th finally hit and it didnt pass through out of that 45 lb bow and she broke my arrow off when she rolled over. I was not going to give him my last arrow if he missed the 7th. had it at full draw ready to shoot if he missed that one.

Being a kid and only having killed 2 deer with my bow at that point I was very inexperienced. I attempted to cut it's throat whan it was not moving around as much but still up after the 2nd shot. I learn its doesn't work like on TV and stab in and cut out. Was also the first deer I guted. Only k ew how from watching a video I rented from the national video store. The two I killed before my uncle gutted all without showing anything to us.

4, all with magnus black hornet ser razor 125 grainers. Lifetime warranty, aint skered to waste one of a yote or any varmit.

Had a 3 place for years,,, and lost it,, replaced with a 4 arrows. Bought a news bows this year,,, 6

Generally I carry 7. 1 stumper. 2 grouse/varmint. 4 A team arrows. Way back when I made a poor shot on a caribou with 3 arrows. I had to strip down and go swim to retrieve an arrow as I was left with none left. Tracked it another mile and got the job done. Now I like to have more. It was one of those life lessons

4 broadheads and 2 judos. Once emptied my quiver on a moose, he looked like a pin cousin from both sides.

I've shot 3x at same deer twice.

6 but the quiver comes off when I get where I’m going all my stands have hooks to keep the quiver close but not on the bow, in my blinds it leans upright in front of me. A second hook holds my back pack or fanny pack it’s just me and the bow. Less junk, less movement, less noise so less issues.

Me 4. Met a guy in Pa in the 70s that modified his bow quiver to hold 12.

Ive flung several arrows at multiple yotes a few times on a stand so having a few extra can come in handy, like said done that with deer a few times before I hate to admit that. LOL

About 40 years ago I had my son out and had him positioned on a stump within a hundred yards of where I was sitting in a tree. About 30min.later i heard him yell. Upon arriving at his stand I was greeted with the sight of a dead doe 15 yds from him with 3 arrows sticking out of it. He had spined it and as it was still wiggling he kept shooting.
It was his first bow kill at 13 years old. Many years later we still laugh about the porcupine deer with all the arrows sticking out.
