So I got a new HP printer. It had enough Black ink to print about 10 pages and went dry. Wally World gets $37 for a cartridge. Is there a better place to find it? TIA

buy the off brand from walmart - been using it for years. Much, much cheaper.

If it was the ink cartridge that came with the printer it usually only has enough ink for start up and a few test pages.

I usually buy mine from Staples. It’s a bit more money, but I like their service. They always ask if I need help or a cart when I drop off UPS shipments. Most other places in town roll their eyes when they see me roll in with a big load to ship out.

I got tired of buying those overpriced ink cartridges, so I bought an Epson ET-2750, it has ink wells that you refill yourself with economical bottles of ink.
The ink wells are large, so I don't need to refill often, I'm very happy I went this route, and the initial cost of the printer was about the same as those printers with the small and expensive replaceable cartridges.

I have a brother printer, have bought the cheap cartridges.
Nothing but problems.
Was to the point of tossing the printer, thought I'd try Brother cartridges.
I did, and they worked, no issues.

I'm not buying the cheap cartridges anymore as they are a waste of money.

I get XL capacity ink cartridges from Office Depot for our canon printer.

Thing to consider, does using a non manufactures' ink void the printer's warranty?
