Take a lot of dog chewed bobcats to pay for that but I can see the advantage to running silent.. just don’t get to far from town. laugh

I watched yesterday's Joe Rogan/Elon Musk podcast. Elon said that a Cyber truck can tow a Porsche on a 1/4 mile track faster than a Porsche can drive on it's own. He said they can tow a 747. The stainless steel body is designed to be bullet proof to most small arms fire.

He has a new car coming out by the end of the year, that he said would be the most impressive, new product unveiling of all time so far. He hinted that it could fly.

How many on this forum are saving their Pennie’s to buy a cyber truck. How many want to own one?

I have goose eggs, for that.

I do see Tesla sedans launching boats here, so not super judgy judgy about the homo e-car thing.

All my Toyotas I've hound hunted out of since the 90s have had a spare gas tank in them, so I don't have to come out of the woods as often. I guess I could throw a generator and a couple cans of gas in the back of that. But it kinda seems to defeat the purpose.

I have no idea. I do know Cyber Trucks have a range of between 300-350 miles depending on the model. They get better range during stop and go driving than on the highway, opposite of the performance of a gas engine.

The one I saw was towing an enclosed trailer that I'd estimate was in the 6,000-7,500 lb range. From looking up tests you could expect a range of about 130 miles depending on weight and driving conditions when towing trailers like that.

That's not too far different than my old Tundra with the little 22 gal gas tank (the one thing I really didn't like about that truck) towing similar weight.

I made sure my new Tundra had a bigger (38 gal) tank.

Eh...wot?
