Raccoon stinkers are definitely real. Even if I skin them outdoors and not in an enclosed shed. Like are we inhaling the odors and ingesting them?!

I don't have a problem as long as iam wearing gloves when skinning.

I am going to put my theory to the test and maybe wear a face mask the next time I skin a raccoon and see if it makes a difference

Reminds me of when I was a teenager, and a friend gave me a few rings of homemade venison sausage. My mother actually kicked me out of the house during daylight hours, my farts were that bad. And I watched that woman pull rotten lamb's out of ewe's, so she could handle a bad smell.
