Curios what you ballistic gurus and shooting fanatics think. Is this 200 yard group good enough coming from a 30/06 with 180 grain pills? To me it is “don’t mess with it” good enough.

How big are those grid squares? I'm assuming you aren't trying to make a 1000 yard gun out of that 06, so that is plenty good for run of the mill hunting.

Heck if those are one inch squares and you were trying to make a long range rifle out of it, that would be worth further testing.

One inch grid lines on the target. Not even interested in long range shooting, maybe 400 yards at the absolute furthest.

Yes, that is definitely sub MOA now shoot four more groups like that and you will actually know what the rifle is capable of. It could be what the bench rest shooters call a pocket group, the one you carry around in your wallet to show your buddies.

If that chart is correct, POI would be ~9.25" low at 300 ... I'd adjust a little bit. lol

Yes a bit low , specially on smaller game like deer .....but I was thinking moose or elk you'd prolly be OK without much thought ......adjust a bit would be best .....correct
