Dad fell yesterday and couldn’t get up. I got him up and he’s good. Bruised up, but good. It could have been much worse given where he fell. Tough to see your hero not be able to right himself. Today he suffered a TIA that really scared us. Just left him at the hospital and he was singing and cutting up. Again, tough to witness that happening.

I understand your situation. My dad is 76, and not in the best of shape. It's a tough situation to watch. I've picked him up a few times, and I'm always wondering if he's down when I'm not there. He just recently stopped carrying his gun, and for whatever reason, that hit me kinda hard.

Hang in there Hobbie. Watching your parents age is tough but we all go through it eventually.

Hopefully he recovers quickly. He might have had one was reason he fell. My wife had one 15 years ago and lost her vision for 45 minutes. That was scary. No lasting effects

. So sorry to hear.I hope he heals up soon. Getting old isn't easy. And it's very difficult to watch your loved one in pain. I'll say a prayer for him.

Been taking care of my parents for a couple weeks. Dad's 86, went from working 65 hours a week physical labor to two surgeries in two weeks and in a wheelchair. He is just getting the ability to stand and walk albeit very slow and he tires quickly. Mom has alzheimers.

Prayers for you and dad

My dad is 79 and while he has not fallen he is slowing down a lot.
He has had a couple of mild heart attacks, stents and bypass surgery

FIL is 88, he has had some issues, couple of falls, heart racing, dizziness but he is hanging in there and still living by himself but right around the corner from us so wife can be there a lot.
