On Wednesday, the New York Stock Exchange announced that it is moving it's Chicago branch to Texas. There's speculation that the main New York City branch might move to Texas too.

JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab and Bank of America are all expanding their business in Texas and building huge new campuses.

NYC might be in serious trouble as the wealthy and businesses flee to low tax states.

Back in March, Nasdaq announced it was opening a new regional center in Texas too.

I think it's very likely that many of the financial businesses in NYC will move to business and higher income, earner friendly Texas, especially now that there is a socialist/communist mayor in NYC, who wants to dramatically raise taxes on corporate profits and even moderately wealthy people.

Socialism and communism can never work on a wide scale because people are not genetically wired to work in those systems. There's no incentive to work harder and smarter if you have to share the reward with others, who don't work harder or smarter.

Socialism and communism even more quickly fail if the people being parasitized, to support the system, are free to leave. I hope the people who voted for a socialist/communist truly suffer from their poor choice.

What's likely actually going to create a utopia is technological advances produced by Capitalism. Almost all the inventions that make life better are the results from the competition in capitalism.

If people have no stake in capitalism they will turn against it

Socialism only works for people that don’t work

This has been coming for years. This election just accelerated the process.

problem is when the business move thay take a large influx of money and they're employees with them.. Those employees are the same people that votes in the policys their company is moving to get away from. They dont learn instead they vote the same in the new place and start messing it up. Colorado turning purple is a great example of this.

Canada is currently a textbook example of how this ruins a country

What's going on with the Alberta/Sask story concerning the "separation" from the rest of Canada?

Correct,,,,

There’s purposely a heavy(damaging) emphasis on Keynesian economics versus Austrian economics in the education system

It’s by design,,,,by the government

Real estate brokers in Florida and Texas have their phones ringing off the hook....There's going to be an exodus out of NYC....When the incoming mayor says he's going to tax the rich and will go after more affluent white people, you need to believe it.

Not everyone in these cities are democrat, socialists or other whackados....but they'll bring their money to your states...like it or not.

If the democrats, socialist, and whackados would stay there, it would be fine. Many of them are the ones who move and bring their politics with them.
