foxkidd44 OP trapper Joined: Jun 2007 Illinois	For some reason,,, it always seems to be either crappy or cold weather on opening day here in Illinois. Wind chills are expected to be around 11 degrees. I’m not sure if I’ll get any sets out anyway because of all the various doctors appointments that I have to take her to on Monday. Hopefully I can on Tuesday,,, I have a neighbor who doesn’t have a vehicle and he needs a ride to see a knee specialist,,, so I told him I could take him seeing how that was my day off. Does it seem like you guys get blah weather too on opening day? Stand by your principles, Stand by your guns, and victory complete and permanent is sure at last. Abraham Lincoln

gcs trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 South shore L.I.	When I had my place, opening day usually had heavy snow or blizzard 3 out of 5 years....seeing I had to drive almost 5 hours to get there I would cancel the trip....No deer was worth putting up with that level of road insanity.
