it's sticking tonight , I expect it melts in the morning

The first snow of the season I always claim as my own. I can’t wait to smell it on the air

Been snowing most of the day here.

Snowing here since about 5.30 sticking on the grass but not the roads.

“Little or no accumulation” they said. Actually it was about 4 inches. Today was a special day pheasant hunting though, birds held TIGHT. They always do on a new snow, especially the first.

The first snow always makes for great pheasant hunting! Wish I could've gone today.

we got out today for a couple hours , dog put one bird up but too far out to shoot

working on keeping him closer , he does well for about an hour maybe 90 minutes then he decides he needs to go to far and it is just a constant calling him back in range this is his first year off the check cord and he might be back on it.

You can claim and take my first snow and all the subsequent ones too. I don't need any of it.

it's going to be hard to find those DPs tomorrow. Unless of course there is fur in them.

Rained here most of the late afternoon into the night then snowed on top of that...not much snow here maybe an inch.

No snow in central MO but today and tomorrow will be frosty then back to normal weather.

Checing DPs today ha d2 coon and 3 grinners. But had 3 DPs that coyotes came right in and checked out the bait.
