Saw on another group that groenwal ( however you spell it) was just wanting skunk tails, is this true or do they want the whole hide? What are they fetching now?

As I understand it it's all about the tails. I drive a couple hundred miles a day with my job and pick up roadkills. Generally the tail is the only thing salvageable.

Groenewold posted earlier some prices. The main value is in the tails but if I recall you get a little more $$$ if it's the whole pelt.

Skunk pelts have always had worth. Craft market can't usually get enough. They need the whole pelt. Jewish hat market is just the tail, but not all tails have worth in that market. So I will always put up the whole pelt. Maximizing my markets and worth

I'm going to do same thing, and put up with feet for hat makers also.
Sell at our MTA fur sale. That way highest bidder gets it.
