What would be a good beginner fleshing beam and knife, and what would be good stretchers for coon, fox, coyote, and bobcat that are not real expensive. Thanks

Southern cats and K9 don't require much to flesh, coon will be a bit more labor intensive. If you have some ability, you can certainly make your own beam and boards. If your set on buying, FNT has B grade beams and boards for sale. As for a fleshing knife, I started with used and cheap knifes and they were ok. If you get to the point of buy once - cry once, the Stienmeyer or the Cariboo would be my unprofessional recommendation.

You can make a beam out of pipe, pvc type.
Yellow pine would work too since you're in Texas.

We really prefer the wooden stretchers from Top Lot or the guy on here, sorry forgot your name but love your stretchers.

Get a decent knife, don't skimp too much on that.
