If you think you might be busting up concrete in the future you could get a couple railroad ties. Dig up under the grass and pack the dirt good with a sledge hammer.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

what's a load of gravel cost you down there need gravel under concrete , but you could just as well compact a spot level with 6 inches of gravel and not have concrete
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

If you've not done concrete before and aren't sure if you want to try it, there's another way. On youtube there's some people doing "dry pour" concrete. Basically, you make a form (like 2x4s screwed together), dump the backs of quick crete in dry, and smooth it out. You get it how you want it (dry), then very lightly mist it. You need a hose nozzle that sprays a very fine mist. You do that a couple times to get a crust on top so water dropplets don't dimple it. Then you water it heavier. Water repeatedly and supposedly it sets up like normal. sample videoI've always mixed it wet like normal, but I am curious about the dry method.

I've done both many times and would opt for the pad.

Pavers and concrete slabs are only as good as the material under them!

How level does it need to be to operate well? If it needs to be spot on, a pad would work better. If it can be off kilter a bit, pads would be easier to install and won't hurt anything if they settle some.
Keith Doant have to be perfect just the area we want it has a bit of a slope and I'd prefer the systems be kinda level

I've done like none whatsoever and honestly I was thinking about something like this. I mean it's what I do with posts and the like so don't see why I won't work on a bigger scale

If you think you might be busting up concrete in the future you could get a couple railroad ties. Dig up under the grass and pack the dirt good with a sledge hammer. If it were me I would do as suggested and get several railroad ties and get them leveled as these will cover more total ground to prevent sinking and are low cost and portable if you need to or want to move in the future.
Bryce Hmmm I'll have to think about that, this things gonna weight a good bit after it gets filled
