Bought this at the PA Rendezvous. Lots of unknowns. The question I have is could you order in this configuration straight from newhouse? Or is this a Frankenstein that I heard a guy from Jersey?? Bought skid loads of parts and just started selling what ever he put together? Again lots of questions. I love it regardless if its right or wrong, just would like to hear if anyone out there has seen any like this? Or might be able to fill in some blanks? Its never seen the ground, NOS

Not factory...no such production trap...aftermarket fabrication with mix of parts.

The TPACA base clip is also used/installed incorrectly.

The TPACA Clip- is one of those special add-ons offered by ATC/Woodstream that connected the chain to trap base. The point on cross was cut off and this clip pressed on in a manner that replaced point and linked chain from center of the base for more balanced pulling force. When installed correctly, this attachment was very strong and prohibited any sliding back & forth of chain on trap.

I know who fabricated your trap and I liked him (deceased)...unique piece, but not factory produced.
