Every state with sheep from Alaska, thru Canada and down to the Mexican border is scared of wild sheep mixing with domestics. New virus I think. Find any new cat trapping spots? Your wife looks noticeably younger than you. Did you rob the cradle? Haha. Congrats to you both!

Kim is six years younger than me and my intention is to keep her around to look after me in my old doddering years (which I seem to be entering early). She's a keeper - my hunting , fishing, trapping partner. Our 40th anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks. I definitely saw some good new cat locations, but none I would like to suffer the roads to get to on a regular basis.

Leroy, I agree sheep hunting is addicting and the meat is fantastic. My son has 16 points. I hope he draws while I'm still capable of going with him. I just found out one of the other three permittees killed this little ram that was with Kim's (laying in the back). ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/11/full-20111-274887-twains_ram.jpg)

What caliber did she use...if you said, I missed it. Model 70 Winchester 308. Dropped like a rock. Not even one step. Excellent job. Now I see what Ive been doing wrong all of these years. Ive been wearing the wrong colored camo LOL. My experience with sheep is your behavior is more important than how you're dressed. They have excellent eye sight and if they catch you sneaking at them like a predator they are gone. If you approach in the open, nonchalantly in an un-predator-like manner, they watch you like a hawk until they decide you are not a threat, then relax. I believe if you approached slowly and openly at an angle you could work within bow range pretty easily. Talking calmly and softly, moving slowly and smoothly and bending over like you're grazing and not facing them or staring at them, helps them relax and accept you.
