The interior entry of my house has (2) lights on a single dimmer switch. Last week (1) of the bulbs went out. Tuesday this week the second blew with a pop when I turned it on. I got some bulbs yesterday and replaced them, but neither come on. I checked the breaker. These are 40w bulbs. I've lived in the house for 5 years without any issues. I can't find anything else in the house that's not working.

Where should I start looking for the problem?

Thanks

They are LED, but the package says they are dimmable.

Check the power coming out of the dimmer.

1. Check all the breakers, sometimes they're mislabeled. And when I say check them, I mean physically flip them back and forth, sometimes they won't look like they're in the tripped position.

2. The dimmer switch must be rated for LEDs, along with the bulbs themselves being rated for being dimmable. So if you had incandescents in there and now replaced them with LEDs, you'll need a new dimmer switch too.

Bad ground cause high voltage a poor connection.

First, look for a GFCI outlet in the general area of the entry, including an outdoor outlet. It likely tripped.
Second, as mentioned above, there are dimmer switches rated specifically for LED lights. Without going into a long description, LED lights run on a different wave oscillation than fluorescents and incandescent lights. usually, if you have a regular dimmer, it will still work, but will get weird "pulses" of light, or flickers.
I don't think it's your switch. If you have a touch-tester, remove your switch from the wall box and test the two black wires going to and from your switch. *NOTE= a dimmer may have up to 4 wires. You want to check the wire that supplies power to the switch first Usually black. If that is dead, look for a tripped GFCI or breaker in the panel. If that lead is hot, activate the switch/dimmer and check the wire that goes to your other black house wire. If that wire is dead, your switch/dimmer is bad.
If both are hot, you likely have either bum fixtures, or bulbs.

Lights should not be on GFCI might have to remove the fixtures.see if a wire nut came off
Is anything else no working? Start at fixture and work backwards checking for voltage. IF all breakers are on

Are they wired in series or parallel?

If you pull the switch out of the wall electrical box, will it say LED compatible on it somewhere?

As a retired General Contractor of 40 years, I couldn't count how many "entry" add-ons I have encountered. And most of them got power from whatever the nearest source of electricity was. It could indeed be a loose nut in the first fixture that went POW, negating supply to the second. It should really be pretty easy to figure out.
