When did season open? 1) you either have a lot of cats or 2) they have been stockpiling them in the freezer until season opened.

Season came in November 8…. We have a lot of bobcats in the southern half of the state. I honestly thought the quota (250) would be filled in a week. Only open in southern 40counties…. On my vacation line (2weeks) we typically catch 5-15 bobcats of which all had to be released.

lmao Yeah I like them big trash pipe sets myself. Now I have never had one that looked quite like that.But it looks like you have held him there just fine. It kinda looks like a #3 coilspring round jaw ? Either a Victor or Duke look like that ? Not sure if there are other brands that have the #3 coilspring in the round jaw ?

I kind of figured that even with just only one cat allowed per trapper in Indiana's new cat season that it still would not take long to reach the 250 total they are allowing this first year..
