I saw a chair like that screwed to a tree about 8-10' up.
Guess they had a ladder to get in it as there was no sign of tree steps

I am willing to bet a 6 pack if it worked super well it wouldn't be growing into the tree , my guess it seemed like a good idea till they were about 4 feet up if that , then it slid or something and they said not even worth unbolting it and walked away or were carried away
