What I found was any raises came from the administration prior to trump. That is what I found. People that income exceeded xxxx$ went up from legislation from years in the past. Do the research.

I doubt yours was ever $25 and if it went to 500 somebody signed you up for every plan there is.

No, what's the actual reason for the increase? Neither of them just decided it was a good idea and then just did it.

It's actually last year's congress that set this year's raises. That means it was last year's president that signed it!

Medicare part D is meds. Your premium is based on your meds and other factors. If that is rising as much as you say, you need to get on the Medicare site, enter your information and meds; and then look at your options.
Medicare Supplement varies widely and if this is the part that is increasing so much, you need to do the same procedure as you would for meds.

Another possibility is that you may have a Medicare advantage policy now that someone is trying to convert to a regular supplement plan.

Though I’m not a fan of the man of who you imply your changes may have made by you being now subject to the Medicare IRMMA surcharge based on income that was passed in 2003 during the GW Bush admin. It has been tweaked and adjusted since then several times.

I'm confused, Buzz! I started Medicare april of 22 when I turned 65. Wife started Dec. of 22. We have both paid the same amount each month which is currently 170 I think. Comes out of our SSA deposit.
How in the heck did you pay 55 a month. Maybe the feds caught up to your low payment???
