Has anyone used a thermal scope or binoculars for trying to find pest in an attic? I think I’ve got something in there but not sure and trying to figure it out so if there is something I know what to set.

Loose insulation and I’m not sure if they’re dug down into it, as far as traps I really don’t want to teach them that’s why I’m trying to figure out what it is.

I have a thermal rifle scope and unless you're talking about the attic of a very large open building it would not work well at that close of range.

I don't have one, but I expect a hand held thermal camera ($200-$400) would be better. Much wider field of view and close up focus.
