I ordered it to check it out and see how good it is. There was a special going on where the shipping was free, plus you get a free pinter and a copinter.

Are you up late drinking sir? It's funny you posted this. I was just researching getting started with homebrew, whilst having a beer.

I've seen a couple pictures of Paul enjoying a beer over the years. I hope it turns out good as your wine. I always thought of trying to build it myself but I can't afford a new hobby. lol

Though I'll admit I first read it as "printer" then you said free Pinter and Copinter, which is a lot like Free Printer and Copier, lol. May be time for some new contacts or something. Glad I looked closer. grin

I've had more than my share of beer over the years. Every EOD shop I worked in had a bar in the shop. When the bases would have us do the fireworks demonstrations. Our fee was 50 cases of beer to stock our bar.

saw the ad. my first thought (having been a 5 gallon homebrewer) is that a twelve pack is a pretty small batch. five gallons nets around two cases.

I don't drink much beer these days, so I figured it would be just right for me.

give it a shot, Paul!

one final thought...for me, more than half the fun of homebrewing is designing my own recipes...tweaking them to suit my taste. Not sure if that's much of an option with the Pinter. (that's a guess, though)

I can see why every EOD shop you worked had a bar. EOD specialists are a crazy group of guys You think us grunts had it bad then walk in the shoes of an EOD specialist!!!!!

Peace is that brief glorious moment when everybody stands around reloading

I once added up the stock and cash at the bar in my EOD unit in Korea. The equivalent of 283 bottles of bourbon for a 12 man unit. The good old days. I don't think they let the units have bars anymore.

You were an EOD tech too? What time frame?
