ArGuide OP trapper A Joined: Jan 2025 Arkansas	Anybody ever had a trap that just wouldn’t dye? I have a very dry rusted, no oil, no other factors, Duke 220. I boiled it in a heavy baking soda bath for a good while. Pulled rinsed and dried while refilling pot. I use walnuts with great success. Went through my process, pulled the trap and spotless rusty. If that’s a thing. My others, took the dye fine. I’m at a loss. Not a fan of soap and haven’t tried it. Any suggestions?
