That's the right thing to do.

I think this is the right thing to do but I also think troops in close quarters during an epidemic is a scary situation. Those who have read about the Spanish flu know how it nearly crippled our military. More soldiers died of the Spanish flu than were killed in combat during WWI.

In retrospect, maybe we should have separate the unvaccinated for their safety.

If you haven’t read the book, don’t be too quick to disagree. I do respect your opinion as long as it is not politically motivated.

Charles,
COVID and Spanish flu are two entirely different animals. One of them is man made.
People of all ages and prior health conditions died from Spanish flu.
Not so with COVID. The majority of people who died from COVID had pre-existing conditions.
Have you researched myocarditis prevalence particularly among young males caused by the COVID shot? Our service members were more at risk of severe damage from myocarditis from the COVID shot than from contracting COVID.
Separating vaccinated from non vaccinated would make no difference. The COVID shot did not stop vaccinated people from spreading COVID.
Not to be political, but if you want be taken seriously, you should broaden your search to more sources.

^this is true. "Spanish" flu, which started in Kansas as far as we can tell, was actually worse for people with a strong immune system. People with weak immune systems had a better survival rate

Good book on the subject ......

It is false that more soldiers died of the Spanish Flu than warfare during WWI. While many died from the flu, more died in combat. The numbers vary depending on the source but nearly all credible sources state that more soldiers died in combat than from the flu.

Secondly, there were no vaccines available at the time the Spanish flu ravaged America in three waves between spring of 1918 and spring of 1919. Oh there were folks working on them and just like modern times, lying about there effectiveness, but the few that were developed (and were 0% effective) were made in very limited quantities (thankfully).

And lastly, there cannot be a realistic discussion of Covid 19 without mentioning that the pandemic was man-made was very likely politically motivated.

Eh...wot?

charles is a friend of mine.

but he was also wrong about the number and severity of hurricanes that have been occurring over the last century or so. [facts don't lie]

I think (don't know for sure) that he gets his information from the legacy mainstream media...truly a biased source of [mis] information.

I think anyone punished for not taking the vaccine should be get restitution to make them whole, as in given what they are owed, in this case their GI bill benefits. My reasoning is by the time the vaccine was released we all knew the covid scare was overblown. The vaccine wasn't available till almost 2 years after the first wave of sickness in Wuhan/aisa/, Italy/Europe. We knew much more by then enough to make informed decisions that covid wasn't fatal unless already very sick and imunocompromised.

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.
