Morning! I just moved from about an hour north of Pittsburgh (Westmoreland Co) to west of Erie (near Girard). My old place was full of coyotes and void of fox, was curious to see if there are more fox or coyotes west of Erie by my new place. Just had a little one in August so I won’t be trapping much at all this year!

Also, if you’re up here I’d love to chat with you and meet some fellow trappers.

Welcome to District One of the PTA, we will be hosting the state rendezvous in 2026 at the Crawford Co. fairgrounds in Meadville. I'm sure you will get to meet lots of local trappers there. In the meantime, check out District #1's facebook page. it will introduce you to lots of locals. Also, District #1 will be having our annual gun raffle on April 4th 2026 in Waterford, PA. Most of the trappers from District #1 will be there. Get further info on the facebook page about contacting any of us.
