She's a typical deep South flat-furred sow cat. They all look like that here.

Gun season kicks off next door in Alabama this weekend. Seen game cam pics of spotted fawns in south Alabama this week.

Warrior deer didn't have their fawns till LATE! I think that cold spring we had confused everything, seems everything didn't have litter's till late summer.

Nature has its norms, and sometimes it seems to be off its time table all together according to us. I have seen late birthing of many species over the years according to what I thought.

Animals can be late or early coming into heat, then not being bred while they are in heat and most likely to be bred.

Lots of variables but the norms are general still intact.

We have 2 sets about that size right now - maybe just a little bigger.
triplets and twins.
I had the twins in front of me for 2 hours this afternoon deer hunting.

I was bow hunting a couple weeks ago and had one carrying a grey squirrel come through by my stand. It looked like that's about all he could handle. I thought it was small for this time of the year also.
