This time of the year can get tough. Deer hunting season plus all the other seasons. A lot of people in the woods. That's why I like December and January here.

Eric mom is very nervous about me doing anything outdoorsy. She needs to meet the landowners and realize I’m not trapping bears. I’m taking her on the quad lol she’s gonna love it

If taking her out and introducing her to the landowners and showing her your process eases her mind it’s a win for both of you. It’s hard to let go, I’m guilty of that with my daughter sometimes. Eric

Smash when rifle season starts look at spots in suburbia where you cant hunt but can sill trap check out powerlines and bridge cross-overs you can find unbelivable populations of fox inside city limits
i would just stick with 1 1/2s incase you tangle up non target just a couple of years ago i ran a line that started near the buffalo bills stadium i would look for big backyards that would bump wood-lots
alot of critters that do damage in the spring and summer and most people are glad to let you get after them especially using DPs
