That looks like a pretty permanent place they were at, I take it this must be a pretty serious problem in those counties.

What do you think happens to the dogs that don't fight well or are at the end of their fighting careers? The amount of feral pit bulls roaming some of my trapping grounds in Oklahoma is crazy.
Seen a group of 8 on the outskirts of a small town, normal encounters are 3 or 4. I can tell you they are rough on the native critters and it is disgusting when they get in a pasture with young calves.

I guess I never realized dog fighting was an all black thing. I thought us whites were in on it too.

Proudly banned from the NTA.

Bother me tomorrow. Today I'll buy no sorrows.

Round here they get a bullet and dumped in whatever open container is easily available usually the garbage bins at the church

The perpetrators should just be inserted into the middle of the fight. Lowlifes.

Whites fight Roosters. Wish they'd make (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) Fighting legal again, shame to see the lines of those birds disappear.

Nah y'all fight dogs too, usually stuff is set up better lot quieter don't get caught as much but when yall do either really big organized deals or really small trailer park whatevers ... Blacks and Hispanics it seem to be more of that middle ground type stuff

Personally do t like the idea of making two animals fight for human amusement but...idk chicken s fighting doesn't give me the exact same deal of disgust...still hate it ...but .....chickens ........

Rooster Fighting was basically the national sport, the founders liked it and fighting birds were real close to being our national symbol instead of stupid Eagles. I've never heard of any white guys getting busted fighting dogs, I'm sure it happens but it definitely seems to be something the brothers prefer.

I was in a camp one time after Michael Vick was released. Had a bunch of guys from MO, Tenn, and Al. at supper I asked, is dog fighting really common. It got reallly quiet. Then an older gent (Gordon) looks at me and says yes it is. Been to WI for it as well. I was like Ok lets eat. Was told do not ever ask that. Dumb Yank.

Cockfighting still happens here. At one time it was a big deal in Oklahoma. They were kind of fun to watch.

Black trash and white trash fight dogs here. You hear about it occasionally when talking to the wrong people.

Hemingway had some thoughts on it.

Honor a Soldier. Be the kind of American worth fighting for.

See, white folks tend to keep stuff on the down low more like that . Gotta know someone who knows someone, no one really talks about it in the open ,ect why you never really hear about white people doing it . Last few cases I read about stuff was running deep too. Judges , cops ect where in on it type of stuff

Black people....no so much.

Its like that with a lot of stuff legal or not I noticed

There were quite a few yards around here with a bunch of rooster boxes thirty years ago. Very few now. Law enforcement stopped winking at the fighting and started enforcing it. And public acceptance has dwindled away. Which is a good thing in my opinion. Dad taught us to respect animals and treat them humanely.
