This time of year always makes me look back and think about life itself. Life is worth more then anything to me and very grateful for life even if I had nothing. Life is a precious commodity and I never take it granted!

In the last couple of years and most recent a few days ago I seen 4 co workers pass away. The oldest being 82 years of age with great memories from work days and after hour events we had shared in life. Living in rural area and knowing a lot of people from a large area where we live, I see death weekly of people I knew and had been around through my life.

Now as life moves along I do realize I am on that short list in the fourth Quarter. I never dwell on it but I do want to make every minute I'm alive to be grateful and not waste one second. Before I retired my thoughts of life wasn't as strong. As a younger person you look and the road doesn't end. Life does change and I try each day to cherish them more.

Happy Thanksgiving and the Joyful season we are entering.

My thoughts on life and death changed a lot after my son was killed in several ways. I'm not effected by deaths like I used to be. And I'm not in any hurry to die I do look forward to it. I CAN'T keep back the excitement of getting to see my son and grandparent again and most importantly be with our creator.

I’ve had a great life on my terms I’ve done everything I wanted to accomplish in life I see everyday as a bonus. I still do what I’ve always done I’m very active I just need a few more naps now to get through the day.

Like you I have more time behind me then ahead of me I’ve learned not to waste it on stupid things that don’t matter. I want for nothing really I buy almost nothing now as it seems like a poor investment unless I really have to have it. Trapping and bow hunting are still my favorite pastimes then theres the never ending honey do house stuff.

Not a bad place to be it beats sitting around it sounds like you’re in a good place Snowy.

Recent events have me a little extra thankful, and in part is because of folks here. That folks would offer thoughts and prayers for someone they have never met is something to truly be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving to ALL OF YOU!

It's a great time to be reflective and grateful for all the blessings we receive. May you all receive extra blessings and also be a blessing to someone else this holiday. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

United we stand.
