I was walking a creek and came across this, I thought it was a piece of wood until I lifted it out of the water
It's a strange formation to me, have you ever seen this type of formation

The picture doesn't do it justice, there's a lot more rings. If that's what you'd call them

If not petrified wood, I'd say it was a Stalagmite/Stalactite split in half. They are made of Calcite and a drop of Vinegar on it will bubble like crazy, not sure what it would do to Petrified Wood.

Looks petrified to me .

I have a deposit not too far from me.

Sort of a weird shape, but I'd guess a split concretion.
