Question for you. This cat that we rescued is currently going bonkers over pineapple, the little girl tried feeding it to her and she acted like it was fresh meat, growling and defensive. I don't know that I've ever seen a cat consume fruit. Is that normal? Do I need to supliment her feed, or just give her more beer. I'm still getting used to being a cat owner.

I have found that such fruits like pineapple, mango, etc have a smell that almost is the same as cat urine. Particularly citrus fruits. Maybe it’s exciting to kitty

Just pineapple. Never seen anything like it. She backed into the corner growling like she'd just caught a mouse. She hasn't been an issue trying to get into human food before.
