There is a tire guide sticker on the end/side the drivers side door that tells you what size tires are usable for your vehicle.

Why snow tires? I put all season tires on my vehicles and ride em year round till they wear out at 40 or 50 thousand miles.

Just bought some new ones. In Colorado if there is a snow event and the DOT requires snow tires or chains you will get ticketed for not having them. Sixth trip out to ski and have been glad we had them every time. Worst was winter storm Hercules in 2014. Left Boulder, CO in the late afternoon to sunny and 55 heading back to MO. Hit Denver and followed a heavy wet snow. Outside of Denver the slush quick froze to ice. Wife, three kids 13,9, and 2. Four wheel drive truck. Progressively got worse but no where to stop/all the inns were filled. Took 5 hours to go 70 miles on I70. Goal was Limon where there were some hotels. Got one and thanked God. Can't remember the number of semis and vehicles off the road.

Does that mean there may be something they actually have a good reputation for?

Better consider backspacing/offset between the wheels if it is different you might have clearance problems
