Hello all. I am interested in hearing what the forum has to say about a possible both species hunt area with rifle. Ive hunted NC for years with all weapons, Illinois with archery equipment since 2009. Hunted archery Kentucky one time as well. My son turns 18 next year and i would like to take him on a nice trip. Thanks in advance for info and good luck to all.

Spend a couple of weeks in Montana and you will be able to both of those plus.

Quite a few areas in Wyoming fit the bill and your deer tag is good for either one.

In Kansas if you can get drawn for both you can then shoot one or the other but not both in the same year.

But you will have to choose between a whitetail or mule deer buck since we’re only allowed 1 buck deer per season.

No deer in Kansas, Cwd wiped them all out. I'd look else where.
