I’m asking for a friend who is not on this forum. He’s wanting to do a nilgai bull hunt this fall, winter or early 2026.

There are a lot of options on the Internet, but I figured I’d ask on here if anyone knows options. He just wants to hunt, doesn’t need anything fancy. He understands it’s pay to play.

What’s out there?!

If I was going to do a daytime hunt I’d go on the king ranch. If I wanted to do a thermal hunt there are a couple of guys I’d recommend. The thermal hunts are about 1000 to 2000 dollars cheaper.

Your friend could likely fly to India and shoot a Nilgai cheaper than he could in Texas. In parts of India they have huge numbers and are a major agricultural pest. In some Indian provinces they are classed as vermin and are totally unprotected.

This is one of the rare exceptions we're I would rather shoot one over a feeder in Texas vs go and hunt a wild one, India is gross
