The weather people are really hyping this storm so I guess we will see what comes out of it. First big one of the season always gets people going. Expecting 8 - 12" of snow.

Last I saw was We are forecast around an inch. Even with that little there will be plenty of crashes and slid offs.
Only effect on my will be putting off having the fan clutch and water pump replaced on my truck. My brother inlaw is my mechanic and takes my junk to the shop on Sundays. But I will need a ride back and to and from work. Wife was going to do it but I don't want her out on slick roads for 325 miles. So it can wait

We would have to hibernate till summer here if 1 inch was an issue. Lol 1 inch is just a frosty day life does stop here.

I Typically laugh at how so little causes so many issues for people. When I was younger I always went out in the storms and drove around pulling people out or giving them rides home if they wrecked enough the vehicle was not drivable

We don't get long periods of cold . This will be rain all night tell changing over and freezing. It's deceptive

My wife can drive in it, buts gets nervous and well still a female driver and panics under pressure. (Say a slide)

My truck can wait, even if it couldn't I don't want my wife taking unnecessary risk.

Edit; BUT if we do get snow i know she will end up driving the boys all over shoveling snow if we get enough. But around the local area is a bit different than driving a few hundred miles

it's out of the east for us actually looked a little south east at mid night , which is an unusual snow for us so it could be more lake effect points north and east of green county.

Picked up a couple inches here but it’s very dry and fluffy stuff nothing to panic about yet the wood pile is full!

I remember growing up, when we got a bunch of snow, they called it “winter” and people, including weathermen, didnt freak out about it.
