That is a release pole, this thread was about dispatch poles. What you have in your link will be fine for release, but it’s way easier with two people for a beginner in my opinion


My mistake. I don’t really understand the difference between these devices. I figured all are capable of dispatching animals. Thank you all for the responses. I didn’t even receive a notification when you all responded.

@Savell Good to know. It's what I have, so at least I know what's possible when I come to a place where it may be necessary to dispatch an animal with minimal to no blood on the fur. Thanks again.
