Wow. Don't know whether to think how cool a young girl wanted to solo camp. How mad I would be she had not asked permission. Can not begin to understand the fear/stress that caused.

… went exploring behind the house and got lost according to her

… looking back I would have just tracked her myself but was thinking she got snatched up by the road and wasn’t in the woods

My boy Emmett has snuck off on me twice, once was at a convention, so I wasn't as scared. He ended up finding some fine folks with some donuts, and was having a good old time when I found him. The other time was in a very busy store, and it scared the H*** out of me for a half hour. He was hiding in a coat rack and thought it was pretty funny.

That had to be the most agonizing moments of your life. Wow!
