I have spy point cameras and dont have any serious issues. Seems like work well enough for the money. Son was first given one of the add on sending units that go on our regular trail cameras. We only were using them on bear baits and it saved us alot of checking reading card. Thing about those units and we have two. Is we now had 8 batteries in the cell unit and 8 in camera. My son seen the cameras in a twin pack on sale so grab one. Is nice to only need to do 8 batteries. Last spring I came across a double pack on clearance at FF so I grab them.
The 100 fee picture thing worked out okay for the most part. We didn't have the camera on the bear baits for months at time. So if you can get them set so you don't have 100 pictures of chipmunks and raccoons. Your okay.
I just took two of our cameras out of the woods by our deer stands.
I've gotten so we only put they in the woods couple weeks before season. But I do have the 4 best cameras on the $10 unlimited plan. Thats because we I use the now pretty much year around as cameras at my lake property. Biggest problem we have is squirrels chewing on them. I had to epoxy some spots they chewed let water in when rained.
I don't need wall hanger quality photos so they fine with us. Just like to see what critter run the yard when we aren't around.
See this guy on camera we call driveway cam. Cameras have been there now 3 years first fox on camera. Deer is on different yard camera.
