Wouldn't mind living in a place like this. Good neighbors and friends.

… thanks Antigov … just glad she was in the woods and didn’t get snatched up by the road like I originally thought

… she had always come back from woods so I dismissed that right away

I have a wanderer also, she's only allowed in the yard if the border collie goes with her. Your daughter probably took a few months off the end of your life with the stress from that situation

I’m glad everything worked out, it’s amazing how you can go through a timber multiple times but a person can still get turned around and lost, I’ve had it happen myself and had to stop to regain my bearings then walked out a long way from where I was supposed to be.

Your wife had been by looking for him. He is a good kid, I told him what the deal was and sat down to wait. He was polite and finished his donut before he had another.

Glad it turned out to be a good ending. Nowadays it doesn't always end well.

I did that a few times when I was a kid. Kinda sucks when no one comes and looks for you. I think later in life it helped me knowing I had my own back.

It's a good thing she was smart enough to set up a camp to wait for daylight. It must have been pretty darn scary for her. What a horrible thing to go through as a parent.
