g smith OP trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Mt.	We have a creek through our place that has so much over flow and layers that it is very hard to water livestock .I got the AI answer for this but it does not enlighten me too much . It is slow then fast in several places ,I might be smart to pool it up more ? By spring the ice is 3 ft ( in layers ) I can wade it in boots 8 in now . Well it is iceing up fast now . You can ride a fast horse slow but you can't ride a slow horse fast .

Trapper Dahlgren trapper T Joined: Jun 2016 Michigan	overflow is cause by the water freezing to the bottom of your creek, the water has to flow so it takes the path of least resistance, which is on top of the ice, and the proceed repeat
