President Donald Trump wants to stop all immigration from third world countries and deport the recent immigrants from them. That will help. He is saying India is not a third world country now. Having seen numerous videos of India, it most definitely is. He wants more immigrants from India and China. I don't want any from India and China. They are both going to be big problems for us.

My friend Sandy used to trip and kill a mix of around 12,000 sparrows and starlings a year.

The immigrants from India and China aren't being brought here to pick crops. The photo that made the rounds of Trump with the gold medalists from the Physics Olympiad was certainly visually striking.



Is there good reason to lure the best and brightest from other countries to make their home in the USA? I think so, and that's the theory behind the H-1B visa. But the H-1B program has been abused to bring in workers from Indian diploma mills as cheap labor, displacing American tech workers who have been struggling in the current job market. Even Elon Musk, who is a supporter of H-1B visas, just admitted that there are outsourcing firms that game the system. The $100,000 fee Trump announced for H-1B workers seems like a step in the right direction to filter out the lower-quality candidates. If there's truly an outstanding candidate who brings value and expertise that fills a void in the American job market, the company will pay the fee to bring him over. I don't know if the fee goes too far or not far enough; we'll just have to see how the job market reacts to this new fee. But I do believe that the USA is enriched by bringing in the best and brightest, and we should maintain a sensible policy for doing so.

My brother in law was a token white, upper level manager at the Tata Group an Indian based, worldwide company. Tata group has over 1 million employees and brings in 165 billion in revenue annually. Many Indian companies bring Indians to the US and pay them a pittance compared to what they pay their few American workers, who they use as the face of the company. The companies hold on to the Indian employees passports, visas and other documents, so that they can't go work for someone else. It's somewhat similar to slavery. The Indian companies show the very worst face of capitalism.

The biggest threat is that there are hundreds of millions of Indians who want to leave India and move to western countries. If they do they will dramatically change the demographics. Except in a proportionately few cases, Indians only hire other Indians. Young Canadians often can't find normal first jobs anymore for this reason.

Indians have trashed their country. They are terrible for the environment. Everywhere large numbers of Indians move becomes filthy and loud.

The Chinese are likely to send huge numbers of CCP plants, who can harm us greatly.

There are some very decent Chinese and Indian people, but their vast numbers and interests make importing large numbers of them a great danger.

My first ever friend was Chinese. One of my best friend's sisters married an Indian. Another friend of mine's son married an Indian. An Indian couple has been long term, good friends of my parents. They offered me an arranged marriage with an Indian woman when I broke up with my college fiance. Most of my parent's friends were foreign born and highly educated. Most had doctorates in hard sciences. I truly believe immigration can be great for the US, but it needs to be merit based and heavily controlled.

The reason we restrict the numbers of immigrants allowed in from almost all countries is to prevent our society from changing to rapidly. Small numbers of immigrants, with similar values will melt in, large numbers will become a problem.
