My best advice to find a taxidermist with a proven record of making fox's look good, especially the faces. There's a million bad fox mounts for every couple good ones.

This info is really good. Guys that can mount fur bearers and make them look good are few and far between

No doubt about the 'proven record'... I have a friend that is really good at deer and birds, but his furbearer mounts aren't so hot at all. He just doesn't do that many and it shows

The animal's eyes are where I see the issue...too many bugged eye canines.

Yes y'all are correct in your statements I am lucky in that I have access to a very meticulous taxidermist locally that has done various small game for me and friends. I am hoping to see pictures of full body mounts with either the fox laying down or some mount with a foot in a coil spring trap for reference in my choices.

There is a taxidermist in Trimble MO that does phenomenal custom sets like that. Send me a pm and I’ll give you the info. I won’t do it here in case any anti whack jobs are cruising this site.
He has done a number of different animals for me in complex settings exactly the way I wanted them and they are all first class. His bear rugs are second to none as well.
